 Hello my muses, 

Just one more day until the holidays, I can't believe this school year is almost over. I can't wait for Christmas and New Years! This past week has been pretty good. My year 12 classes are definitely difficult and I'm going to have to lock in for real next year. I got a taste of the workload and right know it's manageable... I really hope I can keep up next year though. My favourite class is still maths, and because I enjoy it I actually get my work done LOL. 

Yesterday, I went and saw the new Wicked movie after school with my best friend, Foo Anne. The movie was AMAZING. I honestly couldn't comprehend all its greatness. The set and cinematography was stunning and the vocals were insane. The whole end sequence with Defying Gravity was just so good I want to watch it again already. This also reminds me, over the week the teachers have been putting up clues for next year's school production! I'm not smart enough to decipher these clues but it's really fun to go around the school and find them. There's a document where everyone puts in their theories and break down all the clues. I've added a few things but everything just feels like a bit of a stretch so I have no idea what it will be. If the musical could be anything, with no restrictions, I would want to do Mean Girls or Hadestown. Mean Girls would just be so fun to do and Hadestown is my most favourite musical so it would be so great to do.

Spotify Wrapped came out today! I honestly did not know what my top song would be and I was so surprised when it was 'That's So True' by Gracie Abrams. I knew I loved the song but I didn't realise I listened to it that much... 241 times to be exact! Last year I listened to 'The Lakes' by Taylor Swift 420 times so 241 is nothing to me. My top artist was Taylor Swift which was not surprising at all, although none of her songs came onto my top 5. I can't wait to see how my music taste will change next year (it probably won't). Currently, I've been listening to the Austin and Ally soundtrack. Uhm I love this show so much LOL. I didn't realise how funny it would be when I started it and I just love these characters. When I finish watching it the post show depression will hit so hard. If you guys wants to listen to the songs from the show: Austin and Ally ALL SONGS.

Salutations my beloved muses,  I’m back with another post because I’m just brimming with ideas ;D I was listening to ‘The Exit’ by Conan Gray, an artist I really love, and I always come back to this song because 1) it’s really good, 2) Superache, the album it’s on, is one of my all time favourite albums, and 3) there is a line in the beginning of the song that goes “mid November, and I’m sippin’ on a half cold coffee starin’ at a girl who’s not me on your arm, a carbon copy.” This line sticks out to me not only because of the beautiful songwriting but also because my birthday is in mid November. It’s on the 14th (tomorrow!!) which isn’t exactly the middle but close enough. Because of this, I interpret the line as “staring at a girl who’s not me” (the girl I was one year ago), “a carbon copy” (she’s still me, just with one less year of experience). Obviously this isn’t the intended meaning of the line when it was written but it’s quite beautiful how people can perceive the same thin...
