too much to think about

 Hello my muses,

A month into the school year and I'm already feeling pretty exhausted. Whenever I think about the long list of things I need to do, my head spins and my stomach churns. So I try not to think about it :D

Although we have our jackets, kitchen privileges and locker area, I still don't feel like a year 12 student. It's still dizzying to see my year level sit on the year 12 side of the senior study area, and don't get me started on the jackets. Every time I see someone in one, I do a double take and realise that they are actually in my grade. A little thing I love about this year is the small wedge between the wall and the lockers because it's the perfect spot for my friends and I to sit in during lunch and recess. We even have a handy dandy fire extinguisher!

Right now, school is feeling quite dull but there are a lot of upcoming events in the next couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to the athletics carnival especially since we already have our costumes sorted. Oh but I have my first test of the year next week, for English. I'm a tad bit nervous cuz like this is actually going to count towards my end of year results.

Hello again, it's me but a week later and post English test! I was really anxious about it this morning but now that it's over I feel okay. I really hope I did at least decent... My tutor pulled through and gave me some last minute feedback on the practice responses I sent her and so now I hope I can make her proud 😭

These past two weeks have also been all about production. We had our auditions last Wednesday and the dance auditions on Monday. The cast is being announced next week and I'm pretty excited to see how its going to go. People are saying that they might double cast it, like they did last year, which I wouldn't be too mad about.

I guess this will be it for this post. Thanks for reading!
